We work with a small number of senior contributors at a time, each on outcome-based founding terms. Work timing is fully flexible — no required hours.

Founding Engagement Model

Initial engagement is structured around 1–3 defined strategic projects over 6 months. This is not consulting. This is a founding partnership with a prove-it-first structure.

Alignment

Initial conversations. Share specific project details. Align on 1–2 projects and success criteria.

Month 1–6

Execution

Execute on defined scope. Async coordination with weekly sync windows (Wednesdays). Clear milestones and review points.

Month 6+

Conversion

If a project closes: conversion to permanent role with salary + equity. If strong progress but no close: continued engagement with adjusted scope. If no fit: clean exit, no hard feelings.

This model is designed to be reversible and low-risk for both sides. We're open to suggestions to better accomodate you.

Initial Projects Build and standardize operating infrastructure. Implement reporting, decision-making, and escalation frameworks. Drive execution of 1–3 founding deals and early operational initiatives.
Founding-level equity + salary. Demonstrated operational leadership → long-term COO role.

Head of Engineering / Systems Architecture
Scope Advise on system architecture and integration. Review feasibility of product and infrastructure ideas. Support long-term technical direction.
Initial Projects Technical diligence on acquisition targets. Architecture review for product expansion.
Advisory model with equity participation → Can convert to full-time leadership role

FAQ

Is this only profit share, or is there any base compensation?
Initial engagement is outcome-based with significant profit share (at least $1M per closed deal). Small advisory retainers may be discussed with finalists to de-risk time commitment, but core compensation is tied to outcomes.
What if I work for 6 months and nothing closes?
Projects are selected for realistic 6-month close potential. If you drive strong progress but timing extends, we'll discuss bridge compensation or adjusted scope. This is a partnership, not exploitation.
Do I need to quit my current role?
No. Initial engagement is fully async and flexible. Conversion to full-time happens when a project closes and both sides want to formalize the partnership.
Can I see the specific deals before committing?
Yes. Qualified candidates receive a confidential project brief during initial discussions to evaluate feasibility.
